Government Insider Alleges The People Scuttling Kenya Kwanza-Azimio Talks

The planned talks between the Government side and the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party is likely to face challenges considering that the teams selected to participate in these talks have been engaging each other in public exchanges.

The opposition side claims that the government side is not interested in talks, however for Kacheliba Constituency member of parliament Hon Titus Letoo, the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party principals are to be blamed.

While Speaking in an exclusive Interviews with a local media house, the Kacheliba Constituency lawmaker claimed that the Azimio principals are the ones Scuttling the talks.

He cited the demand by Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka who insisted that the talks should be completed within one month.

At the same time, the Kacheliba Constituency member of parliament accused the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party of pushing for their own interests.

According to him, the agenda being pushed by the opposition are not people centred and will not help Kenyans in any way. He cited the calls for the opening of the servers and the restructuring of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission which the Azimio team is pushing for.

‘”The people who are scuttling the talks is the Azimio principals; Kalonzo Musyoka gave an ultimatum that the talks are to be done in one month’s time.” The member of parliament said during the Monday Interviews with a local media house.
