Political activist Morara Kebaso has turned to prayer as he prepares for a step in his political career.
In a statement shared on his X account on Monday, November 25, Kebaso sought clarity from God regarding his political aspirations.
“Lord, if it is you who is sending me, give me a sign. I don’t want to do this out of my ambition or desire. Show me a sign if you are the one who is sending me. I want to know if it is you speaking to me,” he wrote.
This public plea comes just days after the young activist announced his intention to run for Kenya’s highest political office.
On November 18, 2024, Kebaso declared his bid for the presidency, pledging to champion the interests of the country’s youth.
“I will run for president of the Republic of Kenya. My tribe is the youth of Kenya,” he stated.
Lord. If it is you who is sending me, give me a sign. I dont want to do this out of my own ambition or desire. Show me a sign if you are the one who is sending me. I want to know if it is you speaking to me.

Morara achievements
On November 12, 2024, Morara affirmed his dedication to advocating for a better Kenya.
“I am on a mission to change my country. I believe it will happen. And I believe I will be among the leaders that will make it happen,” he stated in a post on his X account.
This declaration came alongside a detailed account of his achievements since he began his journey in political activism.
“On 14th August 2024, we started a journey that became a movement. On this day, I debuted in the first episode of The Vampire Diaries. Today it’s a movement—a tsunami for change. What started small has become bigger than any of us. Today I am glad to share details of our progress so far and thank you for your support in prayers and financial resources.”
Morara revealed that he has toured 29 counties and reviewed 89 government projects valued at an estimated Ksh137 billion. He also highlighted his efforts in civic education, stating that 27 rallies have been conducted across various regions.
“Out of your generous contributions, we have hired 23 permanent and salaried staff, the majority being security, researchers, and data clerks. He explained that your contributions have fueled two cars: KDK for approximately 29,000 km and KCJ for approximately 20,000 km,” he explained.
He emphasized that his mission is to enlighten Kenyans about poor governance by presenting it from a relatable perspective.
“We solidly believe that change can only begin with civic education. We believe that Inject Party will be an incubation chamber for future leaders of integrity,” Morara added.
