Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua took his time to visit his neighbour whose wife gave birth to triplets.
While celebrating the neighbour, the DP also wished them blessings in raising the children.
“Children are a bundle of blessings and a precious gift from God. Today, with my spouse, Pastor Dorcas, we celebrated the gift of triplets to Kennedy Mwangi and his wife, Wanjiku, our neighbours in Nyeri County.
“It was a pleasure spending time with the young family of Mwangi, who is one of my staff. May the young parents be blessed more as they raise the children in family and societal values for the glory of God,” Gachagua said in a statement on X.
Gachagua and his wife have been interacting with the neighbours in Mathira over the Christmas period. The duo have also hosted children and youths as they interact with their rural neighbours.
“What a climax to the Christmas celebrations it was, as Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and I hosted more than 8,000 youths at our Mathira home.
In the event where the youth were hosted, they were also entertained by Samidoh, a Kikuyu music star.
“The day was filled with song, dance, and fantastic entertainment, highlighted by performances from the Kikuyu Music Maestro, Samidoh.
“We were overwhelmed by the love and cheer as we spent three days hosting mothers, children, and youth at our home. As Psalm 133 states, ‘Where there is unity, God commands a blessing,” Dorcas Gachagua said.
