When William Ruto was campaigning, he promised to protect the Judiciary. He made it clear that he would also respect the Judiciary as the an Arm of Government and for sure, he started well after taking over the presidential seat by swearing in the 6 judges like he had promised.
Well, while that is the case, today Kenyans were left talking after former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga came out to publicly plead with President William Ruto against intimidating the Judiciary.
Through his official Twitter account, Mutunga who was the Chief Justice during the 2013 presidential election petition that he ended up nullifying made it clear to President William Ruto that he can do everything else but he should not think about intimidating the Judiciary.
