The family of the famous Super Metro Sacco conductor Gerald Mwangi popularly known as Makanga bae who died after a grisly road accident, has announced his burial date.
According to the statement shared by the Sacco, Makanga bae will be buried on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his rural home in Muthure, Wangige Kiambu County.
The Sacco further provided phone numbers where Kenyans of goodwill willing to help in giving Makanga Bae a befitting send-off can channel their contribution.
“The burial Date has been confirmed for Gerald Mwangi by the family. It will be on Wednesday 23/10/2024 at Muthure, Wangige,”

Makanga Bae’s death
Mwangi succumbed on Thursday evening, October 10, to injuries while undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
His death was announced by digital content creator and lifestyle influencer Murugi Munyi who happens to be makanga bae’s cousin.
“Rest in peace cuz, you had so much time left to live. we will miss you. Makanga bae till the end,” she posted.
His death came hours after Super Metro Sacco made an urgent appeal for blood donations to help save his life.

“Mwas got involved in an accident in the line of duty and he urgently needs us pals. Kindly let’s support him. Thank you and be blessed.”
Makanga Bae was admitted to KNH after he was involved in a road accident that led to one of his legs being amputated, the accident occurred at the ABC roundabout Waiyaki Way.
