President William ruto has this afternoon settled on Mulele Ingonga as the replacement of the former director of public prosecution Noordin Haji who was appointed by the head of state President William ruto as the new national intelligence service boss after serving as the directorate of public prosecution for a period of six years.
His appointment coming just a few weeks after the public service commission voted more than eight individuals who had a shown interest in the seat which fell vacant a few days ago.
Among those who have been left out of the seat include renowned lawyer danstan Omari who has represented high-profile politicians in a different cases in the Republic of Kenya.
The name of the new appointee is now expected to be presented before Parliament for a vetting and approval.
If he is better than approve he is expected to take an oath of office in coming days and begin his term for a period of five years before the next appointment.
