‘Don’t marry non-believers’ – Rev Lucy Natasha warns born-again Christians

Self-proclaimed Oracle and founder of the Empowerment Christian Church (ECC) Reverend Lucy Natasha has weighed on the relationship between believers and non-believers.

Sharing her views during an interview, the flamboyant reverend, when asked if she has friends who are not believers, disclosed that as a preacher she mingles with both believers and non-believers, adding that she cannot isolate herself and limit herself to speaking only to the church family.

“As a w***n of God, I relate with p****e from different spheres of life as much as I am a believer and preacher of the gospel. I am also able to relate with persons from different levels; I cannot be able to isolate myself to speak only to the church family; there are so many diverse individuals, and you cannot limit yourself,” she said.

The preacher, however, stated categorically that when it comes to marriage, she does not advocate union between believers and non-believers, adding that, as a born-again Christian, you would need someone who increases and inspires your love for Christ.

“What to do when you are relating to p****e? You have to know what level there is because there are different levels of closeness and connection, but you cannot isolate yourself because you are a believer, but only in marriage. I tell p****e if you are a born-again Christian w***n or man, do not marry a non-believer; don’t be equally yoked with a non-believer,” Natasha added.

“When it comes to marriage, my stand is so clear because that is a person who determines whether your plans succeed or fail, and you need somebody who inspires and increases your love for Jesus. When it’s about relationships and dating, it is different.”

The couple has been married for three years and has not been blessed with kids; however, Natasha says that even though they are raising many children, her heart desires her biological child.

“I am really looking forward to it. Children are a heritage from the Lord. I’ve been a spiritual mother even before I began my ministry in Nairobi, and it has given me the opportunity to raise so many children spiritually.

“But I also have a deep desire in my heart to be a biological mother to a few children. am a doting auntie to my nieces,” she said.

“Having children is a gift from the Lord. So, we are waiting for His timing. We are waiting for the blessing from God. We believe it will manifest kama wawili hivi ama watatu sasa inalingana na the blessings of Jehova and how that time and season will be.

The two lovebirds are in a long-distance marriage since Carmel resides in Canada while Natasha is in Kenya.

Apart from preaching, the stylish reverend is also an author; she has published 12 inspirational books.
