Defiant Kuria Continues With Attacks And Abuses On Media Despite Court Order (Video)

Trade, Investment, and Industry Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, on Saturday continued with his attacks on the media houses.

Speaking in Murang’a during a relief food distribution, the defiant cabinet secretary maintained that media is bias and have been making malicious reports against the Government.

With his abusive language, the cabinet secretary used unprintable words as he vowed to deal with the Journalists.

He alleged that the media is on former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s side and journalists are not professional but out to attack the Government.

“There Candidate was Raila Amollo Odinga, their candidate lost in the presidential election, they should come with another candidate or reenergize Raila Odinga and we will still defeat him again” the controversial Cabinet Secretary said as translated from the Kikuyu dialect which he used to address the residents.

“These are Journalists, they are Raila’s supporters” the Cabinet Secretary said as he used unprintable words to attack the media.

His fresh attacks come days after the High court issued an order restraining him from uttering any attack on media. The order was made after an activist moved to court to sue him over the attacks.

Kuria’s fight with the media began when Nation Media group made a report over edible oils which were imported into the country.

The media house raised alarm noting that Kenya might have lost huge amount of money Through the tax exemption that was given to the companies that imported the oil.

The cabinet secretary However maintain that the media is biased and only targets to tarnish the name of the Government.
