Dagoretti MP Beatrice Elachi Break Silence Over High Court Ruling

High Court yesterday ruled that the position created by President Ruto for CASs’ were unconstitutional.

The High Court termed the process in which the positions were created was unconstitutional and there was need to have a proper protocol as per Kenyan Constitution.

According to this ruling,there emerged a number of reactions from Kenyans as well as various political parties.

The political leaders especially who falls under the ruling party have questioned the ruling just some days after the court also ruled against the implementation for 2023/2024 financial Bill.

This is seen as double blow for the ruling party and those allies for President Ruto who had secured some vital posts that could have earned them a national cake after supporting President Ruto during his campaign manifesto.

On the other hand,some leaders from opposition have been seen celebrating after the High Court ruling.Azimio La Umoja party leader Raila Odinga yesterday said that President Ruto didn’t followed the right procedures for the creating the posts and thus the ruling party must be removed from the government as they have failed to cater for a poor Kenyan a conducive environment to survive as they promised them during campaigns.

Today,while speaking to Citizen TV, Day Break show,Dagoretti MP Beatrice Elachi has also seconded his party leaders for the same.However,according to her the government went wrong to name it CASs’ because the positions have been there but under different names of advisors and it has been working for many years.

On the other hand,Elachi has disclosed that there’s need to have CASs under ministries so that to make it easier for the ministry to carry its work easily while serving the people of Kenya.However,according to her there should be a proper way as per constitution.
