The murder case facing former Migori county Governor Zachary Okoth Obado, continued on Wednesday with one of the Witnesses for his side got cross examined.

The Witnessed Identified as Lawrence Mula, defended the former governor explaining that he never intended to kill the late Sharon Otieno.
The former member of County Assembly in Homabay county confirmed to the court that Obado was ready to take care of Sharon and the kid after Sharon confirmed to him that she was pregnant.
However, Mula told the court that Sharon wanted to be recognized by the former governor’s family, this was despite the fact that Obado had already informed his family about the pregnancy.
In her bid to get recognized, Mula told the court that Sharon sent to Obado’s son his pregnancy photo and told him to foward the photo to his mother. The former governor’s son was Sharon’s friend on Facebook.
