Kamukunji ground has erupted into cheers after Azimio coalition leader Raila Odinga called his supporters to boycott the VAT of fuels.
According to the video shared, Raila Odinga called his supporters to boycott the VAT of fuel imposed by President Ruto through limiting the consumption of Petrol and Diesel, he has asked his supporters to embrace walking to jobs instead of boarding vehicles, he has also called the matatu operators to boycott VAT of fuel, he claimed that by doing so he will deny President Ruto the tax that he has imposed on poor kenyans so that Ruto can not get the extra money he is seeking for funding projects to fulfill his promises.
“Let us embrace tax boycott, let us deny President Ruto the fuel tax by limiting consumption of Petrol and diesel by making regular journeys in a single vehicles, walk instead of driving. I appeal to to employers to allow their employees to walk to and from work places. I also appeal to matatu owners to help us in boycotting VAT of fuel,” Raila Odinga said.
Raila was speaking in Kamukunji stadium after jetting out of the country from Poland. All eyes are now set on Raila Odinga’s supporters on if they will boycott VAT fuel by embracing the solutions that he has provided.
