Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has reacted after Azimio spokesperson Makau Mutua’s remarks.
According to Makau Mutua, the state should hold talks with the opposition to solve the problems Kenya is currently facing. Azimio declared three-day anti-government demonstrations after Ruto’s team failed to lower the cost of living. Boni Khalwale said the opposition walked out of the bipartisan talks. Raila and his team claimed Kenya Kwanza wasn’t serious about the talks.
“But Professor, u guys walked out of the Bipartisan talks!
Bure kabisa” Boni Khalwale said.
“The only way is sitting a cross the table to seek a political settlement. You don’t make peace with friends, but with your foes” Makau Mutua said.
Demonstrations have been witnessed in different parts of the country as police officers maintain order.
