Godfrey Kimutai Tanui made headlines on Tuesday, February 14 when he proposed marriage to Bomet CEO Lynette Chepkoril Toto.
In a taped proposal, Kimutai, also known as Nifty Kim, knelt down and asked Toto for his hand. A deeply moved MP receives an engagement ring for the first time, symbolizing the beginning of marriage.
The engagement ceremony took place in a private, undisclosed location with a perfect spread of red rose petals on the floor, depicting the shape of a heart of love.
Today Bomet’s female representative Lynette Toto surprised her husband with her brand new V8. This comes months after she bought a luxury car for her official duties.
The first elected woman who became an Internet sensation when she was elected to Congress at just 24 years old, unveiled her new car, the Toyota Land Cruiser TX, on Sunday, November 6th.
The politician, who is allied with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), also offered thanks and prayers for voters who printed her poster.
