Hon James Orengo has broken silence after some of the Azimio leaders and supporters were arrested by Kenya Kwanza government.
Following the ODPP’s court summons of prominent Azimio leaders Antony Oluoch, Mathare MP Pauline Njoroge, and others, Siaya Governor James Orengo responded via his official Twitter account.
According to him, the administration of President William Ruto should be denounced because it is edging closer to totalitarianism.
The former Senator said that the act by Kenya Kwanza government is despicable and outrageous adding that it is being acted without legal basis.
“Believe or not there is a national prosecutorial policy, the blueprint for ODPP. The spate of arrests and arraignments are despicable and outrageous and without legal basis. Pauline,Oluoch,Babu,Njenga,Gaucho,Otare & others are victims of a felonious and authoritarian regime,” Orengo said.
