According to available sources of shared by Nation newspaper,all public servants might soon be retiring not at a very old age as Parliamentary committee now moves to cut the age of retirement.
The lawmakers have allegedly proposed that public servants should now starts retiring at 55years from the initial set age of 60years. The MPs have proposed this move with an sim that,many of our unemployment youths can get a change to be accomodated to the public service jobs.
It is noted that public servants above 60 years will he going home for the next five years, because they have been overburdening the already struggling government with finances.
This move at some point is bad new to the public servants because,many of them get jobs at mid 35years to 40 years. Some even get at 50years a move that will make them work for only few years.
However,the government should create more jobs and accommodate all the youths because not all public servants will retire early to give room for their accomodation.
