The Azimio coalition has suffedd another major blow in Parliament hours after attending a requiem mass to pray for the victims of Police brutality. The member of Parliament for Magarini Constituency Harrison Kombe has lost his seat after a court ruling. Court has ruled that the MP was not validly elected into office. This is something that will compromise Azimio numbers in Parliament.
The Azimio coalition has been losing cases in court and this is something that will compromise Raila’s influence in Parliament. Remember, most MPs In Azimio have also crossed into Kenya Kwanza coalition.

The Azimio leader Raila Odinga has been struggling hard to have enough numbers in Parliament. However, latest ruling by court will push Azimio back to the drawing board for they must reclaim the seat.
President Ruto on the other hand has continued to request Azimio MPs to join him so that they can work for the people. The loss of Magarini seat for the ODM MP means that a by – election will happen and this will be a difficult battle for ODM party.
