Babu Owino wife speaks about her husband whereabouts in recent developments

Babu Owino is among the Azimio la Umoja supporters who were arrested yesterday. The Embakasi East member of Parliament has not been seen since yesterday. According to his wife,She has searched in various places without finding him.She has gone to the airport, Muthaiga,Gigiri,Kileleshwa and Embakasi Police station to no avail.It is an alarming story to the wife who spoke to us through the phone call.Fridah Ongili has asked for anyone who knows his whereabouts to report to her or the police. According to the Nation newspaper,Raila Odinga did not reveal his whereabouts as he spoke on the phone. The Azimio la Umoja leader lamented over the whereabouts of Babu Owino whose whereabouts is unknown upto today. On the other hand,Mr.Odinga has urged his supporters to end the demonstrations at 5pm.He termed the first day of the demonstrations as successful. And asked his supporters to resume the demonstrations on Thursday in the morning. The move is to persuade the government to reduce the cost of living as well as improving the economy of the nation.

It remains to be seen what will happen to the arrested Azimio la Umoja supporters especially the leaders in the coming days.
