Despite disowning a statement that was released by kikuyu constituency member of parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwah who doubles as majority leader in the national assembly, Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition has been dealt with a major setback.

This is according to a report covered on Monday’s People Daily publication which indicates president William Ruto’s bold declaration on the cost of living.

Speaking via the report, Ruto refuted Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s push of having cost of living included in the talks.

According to Ruto, cost of living issue won’t be discussed as the government has installed plans to deal with it as outlined in their manifestos.

” We are a democratic country. We believe in the constitution. For those who are saying the cost of living is not in structure of talks, we want to tell them reduction of cost of living is in the manifesto”, he said.f2e6d3b104b5424ca512ed845b2b09c2?quality=uhq&resize=720

His statement comes off following uproar from kenyans who ganged up against Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition for failing to promote interests of kenyans.
