Activist Boniface Mwangi on June 21, 2024, issued a seven-day plan of action for the protest after 204 MPs on June 20, 2024, okayed the controversial Bill to go to the second reading despite public outcry.

Mwangi outlined activities that will take place during the seven days of rage.

Today, which is the fifth day of the rage, protesters are set to occupy Parliament.

“Tuesday, June 25, 2024  #OccupyParliament and Total Shutdown Kenya. A national strike. Gen Zs are granting all hard-working Kenyans a day off. Parents keep your children at home in solidarity,” Boniface’s action plan reads.

The activist further disclosed that on June 26, there will be a march to the Independent Policing Oversight Authority,
(IPOA) and Inspector General of Police offices demanding justice for the slain anti-Finance Bill protester Rex who succumbed to gunshot wounds.
