Azimio Legal Advisor Mwangi Claims Who They’re Planning to Invite to Kenya Amidst Police Brutality

Following uproar from various international organizations over police brutality in the country during the anti-government demonstrations staged by Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s leaders, the coalition has finally revealed their next move.

Speaking as relayed by a report covered on Monday’s People Daily publication, Azimio la Umoja legal advisor Paul Mwangi has revealed that they are planning to write to United Nation( UN) special rapporteurs to investigate police brutality cases.

Mwangi as well noted that the report will majorly be based on human rights issues since unarmed civilians were assaulted and intimidated by police officers.

This comes in line with Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition push to have Ruto’s government investigated over the use of extra force during the anti-government demonstrations that didn’t end well last week.

Despite so, the coalition via former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka announced the resumption of protests despite Ruto’s tough warning to kenyans against taking part in demos.

Speaking yesterday in Taita Taveta, Ruto lauded police officers saying they did their job perfectly. The head of state who was flanked by Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi further warned opposition against sabotaging his government urging them to give him time to deliver his promises.
