Speaking in an interview with citizen.digital, MP Geoffrey Ruku said that what Azimio is currently performing is a decent responsibility, adding that they are battling for the democracy of the common Mwananchi.

MP Geoffrey Ruku continued by saying that even if Azimio has taken a significant step against nudging the current regime to fulfill its achievements, the party has a one problem that will result in the disbandment of the leaders, including MPs.

In the statement he made, Ruku said that the problem the Azimio party has is that Leaders who are inside the coalition don’t have confidence in the steps they have taken, adding that they testified not to vote yes on the finance bill, but they voted yes and ratified it, and some of them were nonexistent in the parliament.

“The problem that Azimio has is that a good number of leaders don’t have confidence in the proposals they are making, and they ended up doing things contrary, and I suppose that during the consent of the finance bill, a big number of MPs from ODM approved it and others were minus in the parliament,” he added.
