Azimio Alleges Who Is Trying To Cripple Their Digital Signature Collection Platform

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance team on Thursday, 13th 2023 issued statement on their planned anti-government protests and update on the their newly launched digital signature collection.

The opposition alliance issued the update on protests barely hours after Kenyans across the country turned out in their large numbers to protest against the government of the day on Wednesday.

The Azimio team in a statement that was read by Democratic Action Party leader Eugine Wamalwa on Thursday, the opposition alliance will carry on with their protests against the government despite being threatened.

The Raila Odinga-led faction that recently launched a digital signature collection platform to oust President William Ruto now confirms that their move is facing opposition from communication authority who they have accused of trying cripple the platform.

The opposition alliance in their statement have however vowed to continue with the process, promising to put the authority on notice.

“We notice that the communication authority has joined the war against Kenyans by trying to cripple out digital collection platform, but we will fight and soldier on while we put communication authority on notice.” The former Cabinet Secretary said.
