Odinga and his digital team have created a website where people dissatisfied with the government led by President William Ruto can visit and leave their signatures.

According to the seasoned politician, the signatures which he approximated would be 10 million were to be collected and later used to conduct a referendum to delegitimize the government in place.

“We have begun the movement to collect signatures to enable Kenyans to withdraw their delegated powers to the elected leaders and take it themselves. We will carry out a referendum to delegitimize this regime,” Odinga said while addressing his supporters at Kamukunji grounds on Friday last week.

A good number of leaders from the Kenya Kwanza regime said that they were not shaken by the move, adding that the constitution only states that a sitting President can only be impeached through parliament or when he is incapacitated.

However, while issuing a statement on Thursday, Azimio team now claims that the Kenya Kwanza regime has panicked and are currently trying to block the process that picked pace on the day it was launched.

“We know that the Kenya Kwanza regime has panicked and are trying to block this process.” Said former defense Cabinet Secretary Eugine Wamalwa who read the statement on behalf of the opposition alliance.

Wamalwa further affirmed that they are not stopped by the attempts put in place by the government to tame them, assuring their supporters that mass action will resume on Wednesday.

“There is no looking back, there is no turning back we see you on Wednesday.” He added.
