Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza has today given president William Ruto three conditions in order to retain his mount Kenya region influence a head of the 2027 general election in which the president will be seeking to defend his seat against the other presidential candidates.
Mwangaza has today caused a stir in which after copying ‘Mambo Ni Matatu’ of president Ruto as she gives out her conditions.
According to Mwangaza, the president needs to: Solve the cost of Living issue that she has said is affecting the region, 2. Take more development to the region and lastly to avoid any form of handshake with opposition leader Raila Odinga and his team.
“Mweshimiwa Rais, Ata Wewe Mambo Ni Matatu Huku Meru. Tengeneza Uchumi, Leta Maendeleo Huku Mount Kenya Na Achana Na Handshake Na Raila,” the vocal governor said.
Speaking in Meru county while hosting president William Ruto for an interdenominational church service, the vocal governor has said that the region is ready to support and work with the president but maintaining that the president must listen and address their demands.
“Sisi Mweshimiwa Rais Ni Watu Wazuri Sana Ukitusikiliza Na Kutufanyia Yale Tunazozitaka,” she added.
