Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi today sent Kamukunji crowd wild after stating what the voters should do to the MPs who voted in favour of the Finance Bill 2023.
Speaking at Azimio rally held at Kamukunji Grounds today, the ODM allied MP claimed that it is time that the MPs who voted in support of the bill should pay for their decision.
Atandi said that the MPs were voted to fight for the rights of the voters but it is unfortunate that many of the MPs have refused to do so.
The MPs told the crowd that whenever they meet the MPs who supported the bill, they should force them to pay them over the decision.
He told the crowd that when they meet the MPs, they should should take whatever the MPs are in procession of.
“Nataka kuambia wananchi hivi. Yule mjumbe alipogia finance bill kura, lazima huyo mjumbe alipe (I want to tell the voters this. The MPs who voted for Finance Bill must pay),” Atandi said.
“Wewe ukiona mjumbe alipigia Finance Bill kura, tafuta huyo mjumbe umjukue kitu Ako nayo ata kama ni pesa, viatu, Nguo toa (If you see an MP who voted for Finance Bill, look for him and take whatever he have. Even if it is money, shoes or clothes just take),” he added amid cheers from the crowd.
Meanwhile, we call upon Kenyans to maintain peace and order despite the remarks. It is important to note that we have one country and it is always necessary to remain peacefully at all times.
