While taking to her social media page the suba North member of Parliament has made it perfectly clear that the arrest of governor mandago should lead to a refund to the families that were affected by the Finland scholarship scandal.She has said that there is still no clarity whether the lawmaker has in the first place been arrested since in the country anything can happen.
She has said that its only right anyway for the families who donated the huge amount of money that would take their children to Finland for further studies be refunded because for one reason many parents struggle to get money.She said that there are families who might have decided to forego some meals so as to ensure that the children got the best education that they could get.
Millie odhiambo said that it is never right when parents and children cry because a leader has decided to mess up their future.Millie has said that when a leader decides to embezzle funds it definitely means that she or he is going to ruin the future of the younger generation who perhaps rely on that money to make ends meet.
In the meantime she said that should the lawmaker be found guilty it is only right that he be sentenced like any other ordinary Kenyan citizen would have been found on the wrong side of the law.She said that this country does not follow the rule of law and because the lawmaker is in the ruling party chances are high that the case will just simply fade away.
