He promised to deal with Cabinet Secretaries whose ministries will be embroiled in controversies, announcing that business would not be as normal.

The Head of State noted that he has informed ministries and would inform principal secretaries and directors as well.

Ruto stated unequivocally that the only money available is for providing services to Kenyans, and that no money is available for state employees to steal.

On Tuesday, August 1, the Commander in Chief delivered the remarks during a ministerial contract signing ceremony at State House in Nairobi.

He also confessed that Kenyans are losing faith in his government as a result of CSs making promises but failing to follow through on them.

Ruto remarked that this, too, will not be tolerated, vowing to put an end to it and recognising that it has harmed his leadership’s reputation among Kenyans.
