President William Samoei Ruto has amazed Kenyans especially those from Pemba community in Kilifi county. Last year during Jamhuri celebrations, 12th December 2022, Ruto promised that his government of Kenya Kwanza was going to work on the modernities which will see the Pemba community acquire the citizenship of the republic of Kenya.
The promise was finally fulfilled today as Ruto proclaimed and ordered that Pemba community is an ethnic group in Kenya thus provided them with the registration and identification. Generally, it is just eight months and Ruto has offered a lasting solution to the Pemba people ending years of waiting and addressing a matter that previous administrations gave failed to resolve since independence. In other words, Ruto has kept his word to the Pemba.
On getting the information, Kenyans congratulated the Pemba community as they praised the head of state for his swift action. On a different note, a section of Kenyans therefore advised that the head of Kenya should be given time to deliver for he seems to have great plans for the country.
