A behind-the-scenes picture from the production of Stranger Things season 5 shows Maya Hawke and Joe Keery, back as Robin and Steve
After an eight month delay that was caused by the writers strike, the actors strike, and the holiday break, Stranger Things season 5 – which is the last season of the hit Netflix series – has finally gone into production. A couple days ago, Netflix celebrated the start of production by sharing a behind-the-scenes picture of the cast hanging out with series creators the Duffer Brothers, and now they have gone a step further by sharing a picture of Maya Hawke and Joe Keery on set, back in character as Robin Buckley and Steve Harrington! It was announced back in June that Linda Hamilton is joining the cast for Stranger Things season 5. 10 Cloverfield Lane and Prey director Dan Trachtenberg will be directing an episode.
Stranger Things is produced by Monkey Massacre Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment. Series creators The Duffer Brothers serve as executive producers alongside Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen of 21 Laps Entertainment, Iain Paterson, and Curtis Gwinn.
