Jennifer Garner will return as Elektra for Deadpool 3, close to twenty years after she last played the role of the Marvel hero.
Here’s a bit of shocking news for our Friday afternoon: THR has reported that Jennifer Garner will reprise her role of Elektra for Deadpool 3. Yep, let that soak in.
Jennifer Garner first played Elektra alongside Ben Affleck in Daredevil. The character proved popular enough to receive her very own spin-off, which was unfortunately trashed by critics. That was the last we saw of Jennifer Garner as Elektra… until now. It remains to be seen exactly how Elektra will factor into Deadpool 3, but her involvement could hint at some sort of multiverse story, but as this is Deadpool we’re talking about… anything could happen.
