Mountain Dew is launching two new flavors and one is only available for Walmart customers.
Over the last few decades, Mountain Dew has maintained its spot as one of the top drinks in the soda market.
One of the ways it maintains popularity is its constant release of new flavors like Baja Blast and the Halloween-focused mystery flavor, VooDew.
On Monday, June 9, Mountain Dew revealed the return of a popular summer flavor as well as another new option that some people may have an issue getting their hands on.
Mountain Dew reveals Dragon Fruit flavor
Mountain Dew’s new flavor, Dragon Fruit, releases on June 15, 2025, and will only be available at Walmarts around the United States in single bottles and 12-packs of cans.
While most people around the country have easy access to a Walmart, some people in more rural areas won’t be able to get their hands on the new flavor without ordering it online.
For those who can’t, however, Mountain Dew has revealed the return of its Summer Freeze flavor in both regular and zero sugar options that mix cherry, lemon, and raspberry flavors all into the same drink.
Users flocked to social media to share their thoughts after the announcement, with many excited to see the new flavors.
“I wish dragonfruit was available in zero sugar, but I’ll take what I can get,” one user commented.
Another excitedly shared: “Already found the Summer Freeze in my Walmart!”
“I want to try all of them,” a third user replied.
It’s unknown how long these flavors will be available, but it’s safe to say they’ll be around until stores inevitably run out of stock.
This is just the latest release from Mountain Dew. Back in September 2024, they partnered with Taco Bell to make gelato that was flavored with the ever-popular Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
