If you’re on the go and want to scratch that itch, well, MLB PRO SPIRIT fits right in there. Developed by Konami, it’s more focused on quick and easy hits as you build your dream MLB team along the way.
Yes, it is a fully licensed title, so if you want to go pick up Shohei Ohtani, Fernando Tatis Jr., Aaron Judge, and Corey Seager, you can do that. There aren’t replacement names for the athletes and teams that you already love.
What is MLB PRO SPIRIT?
Developed by Konami, MLB PRO SPIRIT is a mobile game for baseball fans. Games usually take around three minutes as you bat and pitch your way through different challenges, other players, and even go up against friends.
As noted, you collect players to build your roster, as well as different items to upgrade those players. Powering up their levels will allow you to have greater success against more powerful teams.
There are tons of in-game events too, that allow you to celebrate your love of baseball.
How does Star Watch work?
Star Watch is one such event, but you can actually put your baseball knowledge to good use. The event is prediction-based, where you’ll pick one player out of a select group of 10 to have the best month in a particular stat.
This real-connected prediction is the official collaboration event with MLB partnered with Konami. The unique event is something other games can’t imitate.
Once you’ve picked your player, there is a watching period of three weeks where you can track your selected player’s progress in-game. After that, if you’re right, you’ll receive free in-game items. You’ll also have the opportunity to get the Star Watch Contract where the winning player comes with an added boost to their stats.
