Thika Greens Golf Resort is part of an 1700 acre Golf Estate where residents are developing spectacular homes. The key feature of the Resort is an 18 hole par 72 championship Golf Course sitting on 306 acres of a well manicured grass landscape.

Head Waiter

Vacancy – 1
Duties

  • Supervise a team of waiters/waitresses, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Oversee dining room setup including table arrangements and mise en place.
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide high quality service by leading and motivating the restaurant staff according to company standards and policies outline in the operational manual.
  • Participate in coaching, training and task assignment
  • Maintain cleanliness and correctness of table setting
  • Report any issue requiring Supervisor attention

Requirements

  • KCSE Certificate
  • Diploma-level training in the hotel industry
  • Proficiency in hotel management/operating systems
  • Minimum three(3) years in 4 Star or higher hotels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Energetic with exceptional serving experience
  • Team player with a customer oriented approach
  • Provide at least 3 referees with their current mobile number

Food and Beverage Manager

Vacancy – 1
Duties

  • Plan, organize, direct and control food and beverage operations
  • Provide the highest quality services to guest in a leadership role
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback from clients
  • Oversee kitchen operations, menu development, customer service and financial performance in conjunction with the Chef
  • Promote positive public-employee relations, displaying compassion, care and accountability
  • Foster team work within the restaurant, creating a positive work environment that is engaging and attentive to details
  • Organize, direct and evaluate food and beverage service
  • Ensuring practice of health and safety standards
  • Maintain mental athleticism for coordination with hosts, servers and managers to greet guest warmly and anticipate the needs of the restaurant for an excellent dining experience

Requirements

  • KCSE Certificate

  • Minimum three(3) years in 4 Star or higher hotels
