The Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) is proud to announce its Internship Program, an opportunity for young Kenyan graduates to gain valuable experience in a dynamic work environment.

Program Overview
Our Internship Program aims to mentor and cultivate young leaders while providing them with hands-on experience in a fast-paced workplace. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our university’s success.
Monthly Stipend
As part of the program, interns will receive a monthly stipend based on their qualifications:
- Degree Holders: Ksh. 25,000
- Diploma Holders: Ksh. 20,000
Disciplines
We welcome applications from candidates with qualifications in the following disciplines:
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies or its equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Counseling, Community Development, or Social Work.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or its equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Library and Information Science or its equivalent.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the TUM Internship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an unemployed Kenyan graduate from a Tertiary Institute or University.
- The internship duration is six (6) months.
- Candidates must be willing to sign a confidential agreement before being admitted to the program.
Application Requirements
To apply for this program, candidates must submit the following documents:
- An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) that includes details of age, academic and professional qualifications, work experience, current designation and salary, email address, telephone number, and the names and contacts of three referees who can speak to the applicant’s competence.
- A copy of your National Identification Card.
- Copies of relevant certificates and testimonials.
- Candidates with foreign academic qualifications MUST submit a Certificate of Recognition from the Commission for University Education (CUE).
Important Notes
- Applications containing false information will be disqualified.
- The deadline for submitting online applications is 9th October 2023. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
