Job Description

Reporting to the Category Lead, the position holder will be responsible for design and execution of the overall Aspirers segment strategy, based on customer insights in order to increase the segment revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities

  •  Continuously review and monitor segment customer experience, working with the channels team to ensure the right level of care is provided to our customers.
  •   Proactively influence the design and journeys of new products and digital experiences, to ensure superior user experiences and interface that drive discoverability and usage.
  •  Support the segment by creating annual/ quarterly segment plans and from the strategic roadmap.
  •  To lead specific projects within the segment strategy that support new customer acquisitions and grow segment and revenue share with full P & L responsibility.
  •  Initiate and generate innovative ideas to drive new customer acquisitions along with consumer insights team.
  •  Lead and execute cross functional delivery projects on segment specific acquisition and engagement projects.
  •  Support the segment and work with CVM, channels and product team to define BTL/Upselling and retention strategy.
  •  Design and bring to life GTM activities in line with the segment strategy along with channels and Product teams.
  •  Provide inputs on pricing and product development based on consumer insights to P&S team.
  •  Review and shape the communication strategies and plans working closely with Brand team, media agencies and advertising agencies to ensure that all ATL & BTL communication is in line with segment positioning and strategy.
  • Ensure the targets provided for the segment are tracked and comes up with initiatives to ensure performance-based activities. Responsible for the target outcomes.
  • Accountable for growth in revenues (i.e., customer numbers, ARPU and ADOU) etc
  • Monitor the performance of the Aspirers portfolio and drive commercial actions to meet or outperform budget target.

Qualifications

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a marketing or commercial discipline from a recognized university
  • Experience of 5 years in a high result-oriented organization in a commercial setting driving growth through products and innovation or product brand management.
  • Understanding of GSM and related Telecom Technologies and Platforms.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Requisite experience in a technology, FMCG and Media field is an added advantage
  • Certification in Marketing (CIM, MSK certifications, digital marketing certifications e.g. Google, Meta or any other recognized certification) is a key added advantage.
  • Ability to project manage cross functional teams to common delivery.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills with customer first focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills.
  • Team player with excellent influencing skills and high level of initiative and self-drive.
