Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. About the Role
The Senior Seed Analyst Role is responsible for seed quality assurance, compliance and adherence to KEPHIS & ISTA standards. You will oversee seed lab management and ensure the lab meets KEPHIS accreditation standards.You’ll be in Global Supply Chain- Seed Team. The role will be based in the Seed Lab at Kakamega .You will report to Seed Specialist.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for smooth seed lab and inground station operations
- You will lead seed quality assurance.
- Maintain internal and external relationships on seed quality assurance.
- Team management at the Kakamega Lab

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- Must be a KEPHIS Gazetted seed analyst
- 2 years of experience in seed testing.
- Basic level of excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) proficiency
- Project management and record management skills
