MURANG’A COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD
The Murang’a County Public Service Board invites applications from qualified and competent individuals to fill the following vacant positions in the Department of Lands, Physical Planning, and Urban Development:
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Design and prepare bills of quantities and drawings for structural and civil works, including roads, sewage systems, retaining walls, and footbridges.
- Coordinate the digitization, management, storage, and retrieval of construction plans and records.
- Prepare tender documents for various projects.
- Monitor and supervise construction works to ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
- Be registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) or the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) as a professional engineer.
- Possess a valid annual practicing license from the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya.
- Be a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
- Have at least six (6) years of relevant experience in the professional field.
- Demonstrate competence and ability to handle technical and administrative responsibilities.
- Be proficient in computer applications.
