Its core mandate is to implement, manage, and oversee the National Electronic Single Window System, a Trade Facilitation Platform aimed at simplifying and streamlining trade processes in Kenya. 1. Manager, Human Resource & Administration

The Manager of Human Resource & Administration plays a strategic and operational role within KenTrade, responsible for developing and executing HR policies that align with KenTrade’s goals and values. This position is central to fostering a supportive work environment and managing all aspects of employee welfare, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and professional development. In this role, you will lead initiatives that drive employee engagement and retention, ensuring that the workforce remains motivated and aligned with KenTrade’s vision.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing talent management strategies, which cover recruitment, succession planning, and employee training to create a high-performing team. The Manager will also focus on policy development, ensuring all HR practices comply with labor laws and ethical standards. Additionally, the role oversees KenTrade’s administrative functions, including office management, procurement, and inventory control, to maintain an efficient and well-organized workplace. The successful candidate will work closely with department heads to address organizational needs and support operational efficiency.
2. Manager, Internal Audit

The Manager of Internal Audit is a key position tasked with ensuring that KenTrade operates within set policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. This role involves planning, executing, and managing various audits across the organization, focusing on risk management, governance, and internal controls. As the Manager of Internal Audit, you will evaluate and test KenTrade’s processes and systems to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with financial, operational, and regulatory standards.
This role also involves developing audit plans, executing risk assessments, and providing guidance on internal controls. The Manager will present findings to the Board Audit Committee and management, offering recommendations to strengthen controls and enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in risk management, auditing, and corporate governance, as well as a keen analytical mindset to detect and address vulnerabilities in KenTrade’s operations. Through these audits, the Manager will help KenTrade uphold transparency, accountability, and integrity in all its processes.
3. Driver
Grade: KTNA 10
Positions Available: 1
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable
The Driver will play a supportive role in KenTrade’s operational activities by providing safe and efficient transportation for personnel and goods. As a key member of the administrative team, the Driver is responsible for operating and maintaining KenTrade’s vehicles to ensure reliable and secure transportation services. In this role, you will be expected to follow all road safety regulations and adhere to scheduled maintenance for assigned vehicles, reporting any issues promptly to ensure vehicles remain in good working condition.
The Driver’s responsibilities include ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs, handling deliveries and logistical tasks, and assisting with minor administrative duties as needed. The position requires maintaining accurate records of travel logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and service history to support efficient fleet management. Additionally, the Driver is expected to maintain the cleanliness and security of the vehicle, ensuring that it is always prepared for use. This role is ideal for a dependable individual with a clean driving record, a proactive approach to safety, and an ability to work collaboratively with team members across different departments.
