Laikipia University, a Public Chartered University located 11 kilometers from Nyahururu Town along the Nyahururu-Nakuru Road, is dedicated to nurturing and transforming individuals for the world. Administrative/Non-Teaching Positions

Terms of Service: Five (5) years contract, renewable upon satisfactory performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deputize the Registrar (AHC).
  • Manage staff matters and departmental budget planning.
  • Implement university policies and procedures.
  • Oversee departmental functions, service delivery, and disaster management.
  • Facilitate meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Plan and coordinate office accommodation and travel clearances.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop staff.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Human Resources Management.
  • Must be a registered member of IHRM and a Certified Human Resource Practitioner CHRP(K).
  • At least six years of experience in administration, three of which must be at the senior management level.
