Position 1: Industrial Attachment Opportunities (January – March 2025 Intake)

As part of our commitment to youth empowerment and career development, Kenya Power offers a comprehensive industrial attachment program designed to equip students with valuable work experience and industry-relevant skills. This January – March 2025 intake is an excellent chance for continuing students to gain hands-on knowledge, broaden their professional skills, and gain exposure to real-world energy sector challenges.

Categories of Attachment Opportunities

We are offering attachment opportunities in the following categories:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Programs – Open to students pursuing degree-level qualifications in relevant technical and non-technical fields.
  • Diploma Programs – Open to students enrolled in diploma programs, providing practical learning in diverse areas.
  • Craft Certificate Programs – Open to students in craft certificate programs in specific fields such as Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Power Option), Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Building & Civil Engineering, and Plumbing.

Program Requirements

To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, applicants must:

  • Be available on a full-time basis for the entire program duration (three months, January – March 2025).
  • Be a continuing student currently enrolled in an accredited institution, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Craft Certificate in one of the fields specified above.
  • Hold a valid introduction letter from their respective learning institution.

Position 2: Customer Experience Officer IV

Are you passionate about enhancing customer experience and have a knack for creativity and communication? Kenya Power is seeking a skilled Customer Experience Officer IV to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a background in design, business administration, or architecture, who has a keen eye for detail and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Officer IV, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality customer service experiences through effective communication and innovative design. You will be responsible for creating impactful, customer-centered designs and engaging UI/UX solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen Kenya Power’s brand presence.

Requirements for Customer Experience Officer IV

Candidates interested in the Customer Experience Officer IV role should meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics, Architecture, Business Administration, or related studies is required.
    • A Diploma in Graphics Design and/or UI/UX Design is highly desirable and will be an added advantage.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in a related field, with a strong focus on customer experience, design, or digital communication.
  • Skills:
    • Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a timely manner.
    • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective customer interactions and collaboration with team members.
