Job Summary:
The CEO will report to the Board, overseeing KFCB’s operations and administration, guiding film classification processes, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with the Films and Stage Plays Act and other relevant laws. Key responsibilities include advising on legislation, managing stakeholder relations, promoting industry standards, and leading financial and human resource strategies.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Business, Law, Public Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree in a similar field is required.
- Experience: 15 years total work experience, with at least 10 years in senior management.
- Skills: Leadership certification, membership in a recognized professional body, computer proficiency, and understanding of Kenyan law and Vision 2030.
