Job Summary: The successful candidate will work with the Principal Investigator to conduct the social science research, which is aimed at understanding the factors that could affect successful implementation of house modification study. Social science methods will include Focused Group Discussions, Key Informant Interviews, KAP surveys, free-listing, rating, ranking and night time member observation. The research will be carried out in Siaya and Kwale counties.

a) Job description
- Conduct Focused Group Discussions (FGDs), Key Informant Interviews (KII) in the study community.
- Transcribe and translate audio files and submit typed transcripts including interview summary notes to the study PI in timely manner.
- Review transcripts for any spelling, grammar or formatting errors, as well as other inconsistencies.
- Administer survey questionnaires in the study population.
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and respecting sensitive information.
- Ensure that data quality assurance procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Participate in planning meetings and scheduled conference calls with PI and study partners.
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
