Clinical Research Scientist – Kisumu
Key Responsibilities:
- i. Manage and oversee the trial in compliance with study protocol and international GCP standards
- ii. Chair in-country field management meetings
- iii. Prepare standard operating procedures and protocols
- iv. Manage submission of protocol amendments to SERU, and other ethics committees as required.
- v. Ensure ethical compliance and coordinate applications across multiple ethics committees
- vi. Develop research protocols, SOPs, and CRFs with the research team
- vii. Implement and supervise pre-clinical and clinical research projects
- viii. Conduct regular site visits for study setup, monitoring, and close-out
- ix. Supervise, train, and appraise staff under direct supervision
- x. Contribute to result dissemination through reports, publications, and presentations
