JOB SUMMARY
As a Front Desk Agent at JW Marriott Hotel Nairobi, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests during their stay. You will assist with check-in and check-out procedures, answer guest inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints. This position does not involve management responsibilities.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Guest Service and Assistance:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Maintain a calm and courteous demeanor during high-pressure situations.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and personalize the service experience.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and preferences.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.

Administrative Tasks:

• Process guest registrations, including the accurate collection of guest information and payment details.
• Verify the accuracy of guest accounts and billing information.
• Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
• Complete daily reports and shift handovers accurately and on time.
• Perform cashiering duties and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information and hotel records.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to coordinate tasks and provide updates.
• Support and assist colleagues during busy periods or when needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
