Join Islamic Relief Hiring As An Enumerator

Islamic Relief Worldwide is currently seeking enumerators in Nairobi. The responsibilities for this position include:

1. Participating in quantitative and qualitative data collection, data cleaning, and reporting.
2. Writing field visit reports and sharing them with the research supervisor.
3. Ensuring the proper utilization of project resources and properties.
4. Attending training workshops for research assistants/enumerators.
5. Pre-testing/piloting the data collection tools.
6. Uploading collected data to the server at the end of each day.
7. Ensuring all data collection tools are complete and kept secure at all times.
8. Protecting all project equipment and information, ensuring their safety and accountability, and not sharing them with unauthorized persons.
9. Participating in debrief meetings after data collection.
10. Performing any other duties assigned by the research supervisor.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Qualification: University degree or Diploma in Social Science or any relevant degree or Diploma.
2. Experience: At least one-year experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research or a related field.

Additionally, candidates should possess the following knowledge, experience, and skills:

1. At least one-year experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
2. Experience working with community members such as children, youths, parents/caregivers in rural settings.
3. Good written and oral communication skills in English and Kiswahili. Proficiency in local languages will be an added advantage.
4. Knowledge of basic computer skills (Ms. Office and others).
5. Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research tools/methods.
6. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, adhere to set priorities, standards, and deadlines.

The terms of employment for successful candidates will be on a short-term contract during Qurbani 2022 Post Distribution Monitoring.
