Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: You should possess a KCSE certificate with a mean grade of C plain.
- Menu and Product Knowledge: You should have a solid understanding of our menu and products, enabling you to provide information and recommendations to our valued customers.
- Adaptability: The ability to work under pressure and during long hours is essential for this position. We take pride in our dynamic and bustling environment, and we need team members who can handle it with poise.
- Customer-Oriented: At Java House, our customers are our top priority. We’re looking for individuals who are committed to providing outstanding service and creating a memorable dining experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Wait Staff member at Java House, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Menu Presentation: Presenting a variety of menu options to our customers and taking the lead in suggestive selling based on customer preferences.
- Assisting Guests: Helping guests navigate the menu comfortably by providing information and recommendations.
- Order Management: Taking orders accurately and delivering them to the table neatly and in accordance with the ticket specifications.
- Billing and Payment: Presenting bills promptly and accepting payments in a courteous manner.
