The purpose of the internship
BvAT provides a limited opportunity to students and unemployed graduates to acquire the relevant skills and knowledge in order to enhance their capacity for future employability and / or fulfil their professional obligations. The intern will report to the Outreach Manager or his designate.
Qualifications and specification for the required interns
Qualification
- Recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree in business or statistical sciences, or related fields, with proficient use of computer applications.
- Should not be employed or undergoing internship/ attachment elsewhere.
- Available and willing to commit his/her time for a 6-month duration from the effective date of the internship.
- Recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree in communication or related fields, with proficient use of computer applications.
- Should not be employed or undergoing internship/ attachment elsewhere.
- Available and willing to commit his/her time for a 6-month duration from the effective date of the internship.
- Recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences such as Agriculture, Ecology, Biology, Environmental Sciences or related fields.
- Should not be employed or undergoing internship/ attachment elsewhere.
- Available and willing to commithis/her time for a 6-month duration from the effective date of the internship.
- Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication or journalism.
- Should not be employed or undergoing internship/ attachment elsewhere.
- Available and willing to commit his/her time for a 6-month duration from the effective date of the internship.
- Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in communication/ journalism/ literature or related fields.
- Must not be employed or undergoing internship elsewhere.
- Must be skilled in use of Ms Office
- Available and willing to commit his/her time for a 6-month duration from the date of commencement.
Technical Skills
Good skills on the use of excel sheet for data analysis.
Some level of proficiency in report writing and photography
Proficient writing skills and use of ICT applications.
- Audio and video recording and editing skills
- Script writing skills
- Feedback analysis
- Skilled in use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Access.
- Data analysis
Behavioral Skills
