Job Purpose:
As a Cost Controller at Glee Hotel, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the financial aspects of our operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and contributing to the overall success of the hotel. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial discipline, implementing cost-saving strategies, and enhancing profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Budget Management:
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for various departments within the hotel.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance.
- Cost Analysis:
- Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify areas for potential savings and efficiency improvements.
- Regularly review purchasing processes and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, to provide insights into the hotel’s financial performance.
- Present financial data to the management team and offer recommendations for improvement.
- Internal Controls:
- Implement and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard the hotel’s financial assets.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
