The Pharmaceutical Products department is looking for a foreign travel coordinator (28 -36 hours).
What are you going to do?
We oversee the entire pharmaceutical sector. Everyone must be able to trust that medicines are safe, of the right quality, and that the right medicine is available when it is needed. The employees of the Pharmaceutical Products department are committed to this every day. They do this, among other things, through multi-day intensive inspections at home and abroad.
We are looking for a foreign travel coordinator for the Pharmaceutical Products department who can support inspectors in arranging their travel abroad. Inspectors carry out approximately 30 inspections of 1 to 2 weeks each year in countries such as India, China, the United States, Kenya, Chile and Argentina. As a foreign travel coordinator, you are the central point for information about and organizing foreign trips and you support the inspectors in booking trips in the central government’s travel system. You maintain communication with the government travel agency. Based on the travel question, you know what needs to be taken into account. You also have an insight into the differences between countries when it comes to safety, accessibility and quality of hotels and local transport. You arrange transport abroad, i.e. rental cars, taxis, public transport. You guide the inspectors in applying for a suitable passport and visa. You organize appointments at the travel clinic for vaccinations and necessary medicines. You make customized agreements with the Dutch embassy in the receiving country for each inspection to ensure the safety of the inspectors. If there are travel problems during the trip, you are the best person to solve the travel problems! You implement the IGJ safety policy and prepare the content of the quarterly safety meeting. When visiting a risk country, you ensure that you have suitable digital and communication equipment, in collaboration with CISO. The coordinator takes as much work off the hands of the inspector and manager as possible and/or informs the employee what steps need to be taken.
