Position: Dentists (Part-Time)
Location: Garissa, Wajir
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution.
- Professional Registration: Must be registered and hold a valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
- Life Support Certification: Possession of a certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of one (1) year post-internship experience in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality dental care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific dental needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous education and professional development.
- Community Outreach: Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs to promote dental health awareness.
